He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Winter and Hazel Winter (Beier); his wife Suzanne Winter (Koch); his son Michael Winter; and his nephew Steven Winter.
He is survived by: his daughter Brenda Wagener (Ken); his daughter-in-law Rhonda Winter; his granddaughter Libby Wagener; his brother Wayne Winter (Anna Maria); and also Cathy Munzer.
