Winifred A. Empson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Winifred A. Empson of Mooresville, Indiana, born in Seymour, Indiana, who passed away on December 23, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Able and Edith Able (Harmon); and her sister Peggy Wagner. She is survived by: her husband Harold Empson; her children, Jayne Williams (Kenneth), John Empson (Anna) and Douglas Eric Empson; her siblings, Dr. Walter Able Jr. (Joan), Joella Hiatt (Sam) and Dr. M. Ermadene Tilly; her grandchildren, Union Williams (Rebekah), Jennifer Rhine (Antony), Daniel Williams (Janessa), Jesse of Elizabeth Brack, DDS, Danielle Empson, Rachael Erdogan (Mustafa), Justin Empson, Eric Empson and Ryan Empson; and her great grandchildren, Nolan, Miriam, Conrad Williams and Wyatt Rhine.
Friends and family will gather to remember the life of Winifred A. Empson on Saturday, January 2, 2021, 11 a. m. to 12 p. m., at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory: 39 East High Street, Mooresville, Indiana 46158; the funeral service will follow at 12 p. m. All guests attending visitation and/or services will be required to wear a mask in an effort to promote a safe environment.
