She was predeceased by: her parents, John Napier and Lizzie Napier (Noble); her former husband Clarence "Sonny" McDaniel; her sisters, Bonnie Key, Reva Combs and Barbara Graham; and her stepson Arthur K. Pugh.
She is survived by: her husband Donald R. Pugh of Mooresville; her children, Dennis B. Lofton (Angela), Avon, Lori Myers (Jeff) and Jennifer M. Bauer; her stepchildren, Candice Harrison (Rick), Emmitt R. Pugh (Angela) and David McDaniel (Amanda); and her siblings, Jerema Robertson (Leon), Jessie Napier (Carol), Danville and Caren Napier. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
