He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrtle Neal and Arthur Neal; and his siblings, Joe, Pete, Ruby, Sarah, Mary, Blanche and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his wife Melissa Neal (Collier); his children, Heather Melton, Ashly Neal, Kathy Cooley, Kyle Collier and Nichole Spencer; his brothers, Charlie Neal and Coral "Smiley" Neal; and his mother-in-law Kate Collier. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
