He was predeceased by: his parents, Avery G. Russell and Mary Jane Russell (Gilmour); his children, Ralph Dean Minnick and Karen Minnick Moore; his sister Carolyn Sue Russell Moerer; and his granddaughter Millissa Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Russell (Foster) of Mooresville; his children, Jonathan Avery Russell (Dawn) of Brooklyn, Cheryl Renee Workman (Tom), Bob Minnick of Poland, IN and Debra Minnick Loy (Kevin); and his siblings, Barbara Jean Russell Drake and Ronald Avery Russell. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
