He was predeceased by: his father Harold Thomas Whitley; and his siblings, Harold Whitley, Kenny Whitley, Kenny Robinson, Patty Burchfield, Susie Montgomery and Gaile Acton.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Kay Whitley (Phelps); his children, Thomas Whitley (Lyn), Robert Whitley, Daniel Whitley (Christy) and Alicia Willis; his grandchildren, Vincent, Jocelyn, Dakota, Dylan, Delia (Parker), Dasia, Tristan (Sarah), Brittany, Kalyn, Emilee, Jamison, Sierra (Landon) and Savannah; and his great grandchildren, Dallas, Daxton, Dacre, Oaklynn, Paisley and Rhaiden.
