He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Binninger and Mildred Binninger. He is survived by: his wife Patti Binninger; his son Thomas "Ian" Binninger; his brothers-in-law, Richard Pearson and Ron Pearson (Karen Pearson); and his nephews, Lance, Chad and Bradley Pearson.

Tom owned and operated a construction company for many years later retiring due to Parkinson's Disease.
