He is survived by: his wife Linda Whitman (Shepherd); his sons, William (Michelle) of Martinsville, Matthew (Maci) of Mooresville and Daniel (Sara) of Mooresville; his siblings, Dick Whitman (Doris) of Michigan and Marsha Lingle (Jerry) of Noblesville; his sister-in-law Jan Meldrum (Phil) of Greenwood; and his grandchildren, Ethan, Isaiah, Mercy, Madi, Molli, Mia and Alexander.
