He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Hall and Jessie M. Hall; his stepfather David Hall; and his sister Theresa Yeager (Hall). He is survived by: his children, Douglas Poynter Donaldson (Christy), Tina McHaley, Kim Poynter Mitchell (Kevin) and Colleen Poynter Lohman (Joe); his sister Debbie Ezell; and his grandchildren, Zachary, Jackie, Sarah, Whitney, Alexa, Lara, Jordan, Hannah and Emily.
