He is survived by: his children, Robert Lee Kennedy (Betty), Barbara Alsup (late Ralph), Jan Land (Tommy) and Carol Summerlot; and his brother Ed Kennedy. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.
