He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Glaze and Mary Glaze; and his siblings, Marion, Cecil, Max, Warren, Al Glaze, Thelma Glaze and Edna Mae Schreiner.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Glaze (Williams); his children, Edward Glaze (Anita) and Cheryl Glaze; his grandchildren, Amanda Glaze, Brian Benson (Candy), Jason Benson, Bryan Glaze (Angie) and Ashley Pugh; and his great grandchildren, Darrick, Tyler Pickett, Cameron Benson, Jayson Glaze, Amara, Emma Benson, Ty Presnell, Sophia and Carter Pugh.

“I met Ray last year when I would visit my father at the Long Term Care Facility. Ray and my Dad sat at the same table for breakfast, lunch and dinner and I got to be friendly with him over the months. I would try to help him whenever he needed it with drinks, salt & pepper and whatever he needed, whenever I visited for lunch and dinner. He was very kind to me and I enjoyed chatting with him. very much. I am so sorry for your loss and he will be missed. Sincerely, Janet Long”
