He was predeceased by: his father Norbert Mattingly; and his sister Sue Nahler. He is survived by: his wife Brenda D. Mattingly (Arvin); his sons, Tony Mattingly and Mark Mattingly; his grandson Jacob Mattingly; and his siblings, John Mattingly, Norbert Mattingly, Jim Mattingly, Bill Mattingly, Ernie Mattingly, Alan Mattingly, Chris Mattingly, Guy Mattingly and Marilyn Colvin.
