She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Lee and Zona Belle Whitaker (Phelps); her husband Howard Stanley Norton; her son David L. Norton; and her siblings, Geneva Whitaker, Evelyn Martin, Doris Elmore, Jesse Whitaker and William Whitaker.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis W. Norton (Connie) of Mooresville, Carol A. Pershing of Mooresville, Nancy J. Norton of Mooresville, Kathy S. Lisby of Avon, Peggy L. Norton of Plainfield and Michael S. Norton (Tammera) of Mooresville; and her siblings, Pauline Fields, Harold Whitaker and Donald Whitaker.
Those attending will be required to wear a mask and practice physical distancing.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association and Riley Hospital for Children.
