He is survived by: his grandchildren, Julie Archer, Steve Shanklin, Melanie Coleman, John Young and Matt Beals; his great grandchildren, Heather Archer, Chelsey Shanklin, Jackson Shanklin, Chase Coleman, Chaney Coleman, Nicholas Young, Ayden Beals and Grayson Beals; his great great grandchildren, Kaylie and Mylie; and his brother Jack Shanklin.
