It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mattie Burke of Mooresville, Indiana, who passed away on March 30, 2024, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Thomas and Willie Adcock (Thompson); her former husband Charles B. Cook; and her husband John C. Burke. She is survived by: her children, Donna Moffat (George) of Mooresville and John Burke of Idaho; her grandchildren, Jessica Lacey Brown (Frank), Wayne Cherry, Sarah Cherry, Rebecca Cherry, Gerald Cherry (Alison), Andrew Cherry, Julia Cherry, Thomas Moffat (Tiffany), Todd Moffat (Karla), Kathleen Moffat, Tyler Moffat, Austin Conner (Brandi), Taylor Conner and Nicolas Conner; her children, Gerald, Kevin Burke, Paula Conner, Lynda "Dee Dee" Burke, Judith Cook Burke Lacey and Barbara Cherry; and her siblings, Mae, Ruby, Vanna, George, Lester, Lettie, Alice, Ernest, Gladys, Hershal, Margaret, Billie, Eugene and Chester Adcock. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
