She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Sanders and Emma Sanders; her husbands, William Keller and Alvin Petersen of Tilden, Nebraska.; and her stepchildren, George, Tim Petersen and Merna Vandeveer.

She is survived by: her former spouse Mary Jean; her daughter Deanna Smith (Howard); her grandson Duran Smith (Dalena); her great grandchildren, Kyler Smith (Chloe) and Jacelyn Smith; and her stepchildren, John (Jo), Joseph Petersen (Sheryl), Bonnie Williams (Steven), Ellen Reedy (Tom), Romona Noble (Tom) and Ruth Samagaio (Germano). She is also survived by many other grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family requests that all attendees wear masks for everyone's safety.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mary Jean's memory to the Church at Mt. Gilead or the Alzheimer's Association.
