She was predeceased by: her parents, Prentice Scott and Mettie Scott (Turpin); and her brother James Marshall Scott. She is survived by: her daughter Mettie "Nita" Dunz; her sister Dorothy Smith; and her nephews, Danny Scott and Marshall Scott. She is also survived by many extended family and friends.
