She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray E. Birge and Nettie Birge; her husband Eddie E. Long; her sons, Gregory Lee and Terry Milam; and her siblings, Bob Birge, Harold Birge, Kelly, Shelly Birge, Evie Moore, Brenda Moore and Mary Lena Birge.
She is survived by: her children, Christopher R. Milam, Todd Milam and Melinda Milam; her grandchildren, Aaron Simon (Autumn), Dallas Amber Lynn Milam (Ryne) and Courtnee Jane Milam; her great grandchildren, Kenzlee, Saige, A'Zaria, Jaylen and Luke; her sisters, Dorene Hard, Nancy McIntyre and Sondra Richey (Tony); her close friends, Anthony Mastropaolo and Tiny Rumbaugh; and her pets, Boogie and Bella. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly ask that instead a memorial contribution be made to the either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Morgan County Humane Society 690 W. Mitchell Ave. Martinsville, IN 46151.
