He was predeceased by: his stepfather Lonnie Pitcher. He is survived by: his parents, Dennis L. Shields (Kim) of Monrovia and Lillian M. Pitcher (Satterly) of Indianapolis; his sons, Alex Shields and Axel; his granddaughter Lexi Baechtold of Mooresville; his daughter Megan Shields of Columbus, Indiana; his fiancé Jacki Buck of Mooresville; his brother Kevin Lee Shields (Shelly) of Indianapolis; his stepbrother David Pitcher of Indianapolis; and his daughter Heather Ambrose of Mooresville.
