She was predeceased by: her parents, Verl Norris Akers and Sadie R. Akers (Allport); her husband Ronald "Buck" Clifton; and her son Edward Clifton. She is survived by: her daughter Terri Clifton; her grandson Brandon Doulaki (Heather); her great grandchild Aria; her siblings, James "Jimmy" Akers of West Virginia and Linda Cottrell of Ohio; and her close friend Jan Emerson.
