He is survived by: his wife Wilma Jean Vanzant (Carter); his children, Darrell Vanzant and Pamela Day (Chuck); his siblings, Roger Vanzant, Sam Vanzant, Dana Vanzant, William Vanzant, Jean Metcalf and Barbara Kerley; his grandsons, Cory Vanzant (Cammelle), Connor Vanzant, Brandon Day (Lori) and Brock Day; and his great grandchildren, Alexia Day, Brayton Day, Bentley Day, Baynnks Day, Haylee Vanzant and Bella Day.
