He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edward Cokain and Sarah Florence Cokain (Pottmeyer); his sisters, Virginia Jarrett, Carol Larson and Marilyn Southland; and his stepchildren, Debra Foster Heidenreich and Brad Foster.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Cokain (Figg-Foster); and his children, Jeffrey Cokain (Therese), Julia Walden and Jennifer Lents (Michael). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
