He was predeceased by: his parents, Anita M. (Gray) and Joe W. Koons, Sr.; and his siblings, Joe W. Koons, Jr., Kevin Koons, Jody Koons Roach and Kathy Koons Marr.
He is survived by: his children, Nicole Koons, Kassie Daviau (Brad) and Donnie Pratt; his sister Linda Koons Patterson; and his grandchildren, Lila Pratt, Mariah Pratt, Alicia, RaeAnn, Kaylee Daviau, Pit Bull and Bella.
