It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert Short of Mooresville, Indiana, born in Gatesville, Texas, who passed away on November 30, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Short and Sara Short (Brown); his daughters, Gloria and Pam; his brothers, Billy Carl and Doyle Short; and his grandson Ezra Ostrawski.
He is survived by: his wife Mary J. Short (Bolton) of Mooresville; his children, Janice Russell of Tennessee and Scott Griffith (Stacy) of Mooresville; and his granddaughters, Emily, Breanna and Natalie. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Due to State regulation, all visitors must wear a mask and maintain social distancing, and only 50 people will be allowed in attendance at one time.
