He is survived by: his wife Judy Ann Haney (Crickmore); his children, Kimberly Coley (Kevin) of Trafalger, Nathan Haney of Mooresville, John Haney (Megan) of Paragon and Joshua Haney (Jamie Wampner) of Mooresville; his siblings, Thomas, Roger Haney, Debbie Allard and Linda Crist; his grandchildren, Jen Gibson, Kristy Gibson, Brittany Ronczka, Samantha Haney, Katlyn Gilpen, Brooklyn Haney, Isaiah Haney, Haley Haney, Thomas Haney, Connor Haney and Lucas Haney; and his great grandchildren, Jalen McDaniel, Chloe McGuinness, Brenna Ronczka, Kira Warner and Barrett Ronczka.
