It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane Bastin of Mooresville, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on January 10, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Emory Jr. and Mary Lou Bastin (Fletcher); his wife Carol Jean Bastin (Blackman); and his brother Mark Bastin. He is survived by: his children, Robin Bastin Perkins (David) of Mooresville, Kevin Duane Bastin (Karen) of Plainfield and William Eugene "Bill" Bastin (Star) of Mooresville; his grandsons, Matthew Perkins (Janet) and Cody Perkins (Edie); his great grandchild Maverick Vincent Perkins; and his brothers, Randy Bastin (Missy) of Salem and Harvey Emory "Chip" Bastin III of Indianapolis.
