He was predeceased by: his father Robert William Pitcher; his sister Peggy Broadstreet; and his son Dennis Pitcher, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Pitcher (Nichols); his children, Kim Swinney (Lafe), Karen Smith, Scott Pitcher (Bernadette) and Denise Smeltzer; and his grandchildren, Logan Smith, Andrew Schrader, Jacklyn Engle, Cody Swaniger, Matthew Smeltzer, Sara Altman (Mason), Aaron Pitcher, Brant Pitcher, Ki Swinney and Thomas Swinney. He is also survived by his loving family and many friends.
