He is survived by: his wife Doris Tackett (Winters); and his siblings, Ed Tackett (Wendy) of Mooresville, Rex Tackett (Yolanda) of North Carolina, Alma Pease of Mooresville, Sharon Koelling (Bill) of Tennessee, Connie Garrett (Jay) of Martinsville, Del and Marie Garrett (Terry) of Paragon. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
