He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas Davis and Eula Mae Davis (Webb); and his sister Wanda Lucille Davis. He is survived by: his son Dannie L. Davis Jr. (Ronie) of Mooresville; his stepdaughter Vickie Nearhoof (Ron) of Cloverdale; his siblings, Mattie Mae Deaton (Dallas) and William Samuel Davis; his grandchildren, Trey Davis (Ellen), Trenton Davis, Trevin Davis, Treiton Davis, Treagan Davis, Cindelle Mills (Adam) and John Testerman (Ann); and his great grandchild Wrenley Davis.
