She is survived by: her children, Alan Horton of Mooresville, Joyce Matlock of Winston Salem and Karen Reader of Waverly, Ohio; her nephew Randy Marsh of Monrovia; her granddaughters, Audrey Kirk, Rosetta Houchin and Marcia Peters; her brothers, Garland Givan, Tilmon Givan and Lawrence Givan; her half-brothers, Harlan Givan and Amos Givan; her sisters, Rosetta Givan, Gladys Givan, Mary Givan, Nettie Givan, Dorothy Marsh, Elsie Kilburn and Sylvia Eubank; and her half-sister Maude Martin. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
