She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Frank Raufeisen and Veronica Mary Raufeisen (Schlachter); her spouse Thomas Glenn Walters; her daughter Sue Ann Stambro; her brothers, Albert E. Raufeisen and Roy Junior Raufeisen; and her brothers-in-law, Willis Wright and Bob Kendall.
She is survived by: her daughter Terry Teverbaugh (Rick) of Mooresville, IN; her granddaughters, Trina Black (Dennis) of Greenwood, IN and Tracy Bassett (Rich) of Fishers, IN; her great grandchildren, Alyssa Shillings (Jonah), Kate Black, Ty Black, Keira Bassett, Drew Black and Alexandria Bassett; her great great grandchild Nellie Shillings; her sisters, Shirley Wright of Greenwood, IN and Marge Kendall of Indianapolis, IN; and her son-in-law Joseph M. Stambro of Indianapolis, IN..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center (300 S Morton St, Franklin, IN 46131). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at the Washington Park East Cemetery (10612 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229).
Betty enjoyed crocheting and making lap blankets and donating them to nursing homes.
