He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Raymond and Lillian Raney (Carter); his wife Maxine Raney (Whitted); and his brother Murray Tabor Raney. He is survived by: his children, Kathy Diane Raney of Mooresville, Arthur Raymond Raney, III (Linda) of New Mexico and William Alan Raney (Susan Stiles) of Ohio; his grandson Tim Sharp (Joanna); and his great grandchildren, Ajax and Athena Sharp. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
