It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark A. Rutzel of Moores Hill, Indiana, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on August 2, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alois Rutzel and Bonnie Rutzel (Nadaud); and his brother Michael Rutzel. He is survived by: his wife Candice "Candy" Rutzel (Phillips) of Moores Hill; his children, Ian Rutzel (Asha) of Moores Hill, Seth Rutzel (Haley) of Moores Hill, Melanie Keigi (Michael) of Friday Harbor and Erin Leonard (Kyle) of Columbus; his brother David Rutzel (Destiny) of Hidden Valley; his niece Chloe Rutzel; his nephew Easton Rutzel; his grandchildren, Morgan, Hayden, Henry, Emmeline, Eloise, June and Harper; and his great grandchildren, Zoey and Olivia.
Memorials may be given in honor of Mark to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
