It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Barrett (Moores Hill, Indiana), born in Berea, Kentucky, who passed away on May 21, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Barrett and Bertha Barrett (Powell); his wife Elizabeth Sandlen; and his siblings, Oscar, Jessie, Arnold, Lloyd Barrett, Ola Mehring and Fannie Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Barrett (Frances) of Bedford, Michael Barrett of Morgantown, Carolyn Smith of Greendale, Dorothy Marie Evans of Aurora and Elaine Faye Cornn (Danny) of Moores Hill; and his siblings, Delbert Barrett of Ohio, Dorothy Geisler of Ohio, Geraldine Houston of Indiana, Delora Lykins of Florida and Lucinda Rogers of Ohio. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given in honor of Joe to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the donor's choice.
