With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emma Schmaltz of Moores Hill, Indiana, born in Florence, Indiana, who passed away on January 3, 2024 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Emma Schmaltz to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Craig and Rosetta Craig (Niccum); her husband Daniel Schmaltz; her children, Ricky Lynn Turner and Caroline Sue Turner; her brothers, Melvin Craig and William "Bill" Craig; and her sister-in-law Lavarne Craig.

She is survived by: her daughters, Nola Riley (Tom) of Moores Hill and Angela "Angie" Colen of Moores Hill; her sister Lois Smith (Harland) of Rising Sun; and her sister-in-law Linda Craig of Sweetwater, Tennessee. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be given in honor of Jean to the Donor's Choice.
