She was predeceased by: her father Phillip Elwell Powell; and her sister Christina Powell. She is survived by: her husband James "Doug" Wetzler; her son Scott Wetzler; her brother Harold Dean; her sister-in-law Sandy Powell of Milan; and her sister Myrtle Ann Redd of Greensburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Midway United Methodist Church, 215 Kilcrease Road, Auburn, Georgia 30011.
