He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Johnson and Inez Johnson (Jones); his daughter Nina Eldridge; and his sisters, Martha Witt and Hazel Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Michele Johnson; his daughters, Erin Foster and Nicole Cole (Brandon); his grandchildren, Brandon Eldridge, Jordan Cole, Austin Cole, Ensley Giddings and Rylee Giddings; and his brother Cecil Johnson.
