He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Charles and Katherine Hickman (Eaton); his granddaughter Bryanna Rumler; and his brothers, Dennis Keith Johnston and Richard Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Lena Martha Alice Hickman (Kuhn); his children, Tammy Rumler (Bill) of Shirley and Charles Hickman Jr. of Mooreland; and his grandsons, Michael and Andrew Rumler.
