Marie M. Mounsey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie M. Mounsey of Montpelier, Indiana, who passed away on November 17, 2024 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marie M. Mounsey to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Raulin Gillette and Dorothy Gillette (Brown); her spouse Thomas Duane Mounsey; and her sisters, Deloris Shultz and Miriam Dorcus Goodhew.
She is survived by: her children, Linda McCoin (Monty) of Hartford City, IN and Greg Mounsey (Tami) of Centerville, IN; her grandchildren, Brittany Powell (Tyler) of New Castle, IN, Braxton McCoin (Jessica) of Muncie, IN, Morgan Smith (Patrick) of Indianapolis, IN and Dr. Derek Mounsey (Layne) of Indianapolis, IN; and her siblings, David Gillette (Judy) of Fort Wayne, IN, Alice Zuercher (Herb) of Bradenton, FL and Rauline Morris (Jack) of Fort Wayne, IN. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Walker and Glancy Funeral Home (109 W Windsor St, Montpelier, IN 47359). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
