He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond E. Ickes and Mildred Ickes (Medler). He is survived by: his wife Evelyn L. Ickes (Bailey) of Montpelier, IN; his children, Brian E. Ickes (Teresa) of Montpelier, IN and Michele Amstutz (Randy) of Berne, IN; his grandchildren, Tiffany Ickes Pauley of Montpelier, IN, Brittnay Clark (Josh) of Knob Noster, MO, Jennifer Amstutz of Berne, IN and Bethany "Buffy" Ross (Michael) of Cincinnati, OH; and his sister Diana J. Odom. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Walker & Glancy Funeral Home (109 W Windsor St, Montpelier, IN 47359). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
