He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert A. Baker and Iva Lee Baker (Hammons); his wife Delores C. (Marshall); his daughter Lucy Baker; his stepchildren, Russel Brown and Sheila Brown; and his siblings, Thurman Baker, Robert Baker, William Baker, Lula Burrus, Flora Gabbard, Francis Greer, Virginia Rowe, Laura Hutson, Jean Chaney and Joan Seley.
He is survived by: his children, Dale Baker (Tina) of Henderson, KY, Virginia Johnston (Mark) of Henderson, KY and Carolyn Swihart (David Mooney) of Providence, KY; his stepdaughters, Paula Brown of Bluffton, Barbara Huffman of Bluffton and Sherrie Hillard of Portland, IN.; and his grandchildren, Allison Baker Shealy, Crystal Crow, Justin Baker, Christopher Sweat, Edward Hickerson and DeMarco Sutton. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
