With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert W. Thacker of Monticello, Indiana, born in Lafayette, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 5, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Thacker and Roberta Thacker (Platt) of Monon; and his in-laws, Clare and Frances Garber of Goshen, Indiana.. He is survived by: his children, Dana Thacker of Chicago, Quinn Thacker of Indianapolis and Wesley Thacker (Ellen); his grandchildren, Esmae Marie Thacker and Roselyn Sue Thacker; his sisters-in-law, Nancy (Paul Jacobs), Judy, Pat Corso of Pinehurst and Cindy (Larry Cooper); and also Bob. He is also survived by his 7 nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home (202 S Illinois St, Monticello, IN 47960).
