He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Bogan and Ruth Hollingsworth Bogan; his brother-in-law Joe; and his nephews, Tyler and Daniel.

He is survived by: his siblings, Sherry D. Burgin of Frankfort, Rhonda (Toby Grist), Ronald L. "Ronnie" Bogan of Delphi, Mike D. Bogan of Pittsburg and Jason Lowry of Pittsburg.
