We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Phyllis J. Bufkin of Monticello, Indiana, born in Rensselaer, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Blount and Thelma Blount (Sweet); her husband Jerald L. Bufkin; her siblings, Dean, Cecil, Frank, Robert, Steven "Homer" Blount, Edna White, Marjorie Williams and Sharon Korrect; and her grandsons, Cory Howerton and Douglas Speer.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Speer (Doug) of Monticello and Gary Braden (Debbie) of Monon; her siblings, Doris Hinderlider (Jack) of Sunnyside, WA, Pickett of Monticello, Donald Blount (Norma) of Monticello, Richard Blount of Brookston, Kenneth "Butch" Blount and Michael Blount (Christina) of Kokomo; her sister-in-law Mary Blount of Delphi; and her grandchildren, Lisa Cawby (Dusty), Karen Youngs (Lance), Jeremy Wireman, Nathan Braden (Brittany) and Jessica Baker (Matt). She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
