The passing of Marianne Scripter of Monticello, Indiana leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on March 29, 2025 at the age of 88. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Miiller and Mercedes Miiller (Stombaugh); her husband A. Jack Scripter; her daughter Pamela J. Sterrett; her grandchildren, Stacie, Traci and Benjamin Sterrett; and her sisters, Doris Lowry and Genevieve Deno.
She is survived by: her son Perry Scripter (Chris) of South Bend; her son-in-law Larry Sterrett of Burkesville, KY; and her grandchildren, Jared Sterrett (Angie) of Buffalo, Craig Sterrett (Emily) of West Moreland, TN, Ryan Scripter of Kingsland, GA and Daniel Scripter (Marie Queen) of Indianapolis. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church (543 S Main St, Monticello, IN 47960). A rosary was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are encouraged to Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
