He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Barton and Lillian Barton (Enz); and his brother Ed Barton. He is survived by: his wife Betty Kuchera of Monticello; his son Les Barton of Winamac; his granddaughters, Danielle Glasgow (Brad) of Union Mills and Adrienne Barton of Winamac; his great grandchildren, Emily, Sawyer and Hayley; and his close friend Hogan.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Chalmers Community Church.
