He was predeceased by: his parents, Denton Johns and Rose Sparkman of Baltimore, Maryland. He is survived by: his wife Edith Larene "Edie" Johns of Monticello, Indiana; his son Jayson Johns (Chanel) of Chicago, Illinois.; his grandson Ocean Johns; and his siblings-in-law, Jane Cosgray of Monticello, Kelly Young (Butch) of Idaville, Deb Cosgray of Monticello Indiana, Garry Cosgray (Paula) of Idaville and Pete "Grub" Cosgray of Monticello, Indiana. He is also survived by Several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Great Nephews, Cousins.
