With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Max Houghton of Monticello, Indiana, born in Monon, Indiana, who passed away on September 2, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Franklin and Emma Etta Houghton (Banes); and his brothers, Almon, Wayne and Russell Houghton.

He is survived by: his spouse Wanetta Ann "Pete" Bush; and his children, Jerry Houghton (Kathy) of Monticello, Vicki Lynn Lenahan (Logan) of Downers Grove, IL, Jeffery Max Houghton (Lindy) of Saginaw, MI, Jack Alan Houghton (Candace) of Kansas City, KS and Valeri Ann Frank (Steve) of Monticello. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and twenty-four great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be given to the White County Food Pantry, the Monticello Kiwanis Club or to the Monticello United Methodist Church.
