He was predeceased by: his father Vernon D. "Pinky" Luse; his uncle Jerry Maze; and his pet Sledge. He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth "Beth" Martin Luse of Monticello, Indiana; his children, Courtney Luse of Monticello, Dustin Luse of Monticello, Byrce Luse (Lei'ala Pua Murphy) of Kokomo and Bradley Reynolds of Monticello, Indiana; his siblings, Kevin Luse (Teresa) of West Lafayette, Indiana and Kathy Dishon (John) of Monticello, Indiana; his uncle Gerry Martin of Monticello, Indiana; his aunt Phyllis Maze of Lafayette, Indiana; his cousins, Lenora Maze, Suzy Maze, Becky Maze and Margie Maze; his nieces and nephews, Kelsey Spille, Destiney Jackson, Faith Clugston, Jorey Luse, Devan Snowberger and Teagan Snowberger; and his brother Robert "Junior" Polly.
