He is survived by: his wife Carmella L. Socha of Monticello; his children, John V. Socha, III, Valerie Forrester (Jeff) of Westville and Jennifer Scott (Jason) of Monticello; his grandchildren, Michael, Jessica Socha, Nick, Maddie Forrester, Sydney and Avery Scott; his great grandchild Elijah Socha; his sister Susan Karchinski of Utah; and his siblings-in-law, Frank Perrine (Linda) of Crown Point, Donna Koleszarik (Steve) of Brownsburg and Linda Getzy (Andy) of Valparaiso. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
